residential interiors
Creating a comfortable home is Barnard Interiors main focus when combining different design elements, which can give you a safe and comfortable haven to retreat to after a long and tiring day.

a taste of modern tuscany
This young family had almost no furniture and no defined style so they were
a blank canvas ready to spread some color into their home!
With a fresh and modern approach to a tuscan theme an eclectic style was achieved.
They wanted a comfortable place made for entertaining a large extended family and we achieved it.  This was a fun family to work with and the kids are adorable.

auburn's place to rest
This was an update from a boy's room into a man's room!
This young man is very young but so mature and his favorite team is definitely Auburn University!  He is the only little boy... pardon me... young man,
that I know of who can quote you any sports statistics you might ever want to know!
We just had to give him a room that embodied his favorite tiger and I think we did just that!  This was so much fun and I was able to again work with the supremely talented Daniece Odom who did the phenomenal mural and quote detail.
There is no denying who this little big guy will be cheering for on game day!

"quality of life" garden home remodel
This was such a fun remodel!  These dream clients actually gave me the keys to the house and said, "You know our style, so just do it!"  Ok, now is that is a rare, dream scenario that I totally ran with and had the time of my life.  In fact, the husband said, "Your not only in the business of decorating, you are in the business of enhancing the quality of life in a home!"  From beginning to end these clients have been a Godsend and having their trust has allowed me to really be creative!  Here is to them; thank you dear friends!
Here are some before and afters of the job.

parade of homes 2008
This was my first Parade of Homes decorating experience. I was fortunate enough to be asked by my good friend Dinah Hodges (Hodgepodge Designs) to help her decorate Kevin Romero's beautiful home in Ravenwood!  It could not have been done so seamlessly without the good folks from Capel Rugs as well as World Market and a great local artist, Daniece Odom.
It was a wonderful collaborative effort and I feel blessed to have been a part
of something so fun and inspired!

vintage style

This project was so much fun!  I gained not only gorgeous pictures but a GREAT set of friends.  This is a beautiful home in Vintage Township.  I was asked to make their things compliment their new Victorian home.  By using their gorgeous antiques and adding a few splashes of color we accomplished an updated vintage style!

happily wedded decor

I love "marrying" two different styles to create a new home.  My friends got married and asked me to help them blend two completely different types of furniture and artwork for their first home together.  With bright colors and beautiful rugs I was able to meld their personalities into this great house!  I wish these two the very best life happily ever after!

the "kid's" entertainment room
This project was all about family from beginning to end.
This was a fun kids entertainment room that the parents ended up using
just as much as the kids after the project was finished.
The kids got to show off their artistic prowess in a hands on art project,
designed specifically for this room.
And with custom pillows and art work made from the accent fabric,
I was able to build the whole color scheme and design around this great bulls-eye fabric!

the oldworld pub

Below are some amazing before and after pictures
of a job I did in the Lubbock Country Club.
This client was so much fun to work with because he was open for anything!
He loves his "bar" and has put it to good use
by inviting his friends over to watch Texas Tech football games!
